Vishesh Khurana

(Co-Founder - Growth, Shiprocket)

Vishesh Khurana is the Co-Founder of Shiprocket, a new-age logistics aggregation platform that drives global and domestic shipping for MSMEs operating in the e-commerce sector. Addressing a key leadership position in a fast-growing startup, Vishesh is actively involved in overseeing seller acquisition for the platform.

At the heart of his strategy, Vishesh is driven to empower India’s burgeoning small and mid-sized merchants, by providing a go-to destination for them to launch and manage their business online.

Not new to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Vishesh has previously worked in the capacity of COO and Founder at Mobiz Infotech Pvt. Ltd. A BBA, with specialisation in Marketing & Sales, Vishesh successfully exited his first startup, following an ‘all-cash’ acquisition.

Vishesh’s interests are merely an extension of his professional undertakings. An E-Commerce geek, Vishesh keenly observes the sector and its ever-evolving trends. He is further fascinated by Digital Marketing and the visceral opportunities it presents to both individuals and brands.

When not strategizing or enterprising, Vishesh can be seen breaking gaming records with the latest gadgets, or spending time with family. Having a soft corner for the four-legged-wonders, Vishesh often likes to extract time from his demanding schedule to visit shelter homes for dogs.

Trisha Rajani Vaidya was the COO at Dr. Vaidya's: New Age Ayurveda. Prior to her entrepreneurial stint, Trisha graduated from Warwick University, UK with a BSc in Business Management. She then worked at Goldman Sachs in London from 2012-2014 where she was in the top quartile all through her stint. In July 2014, Trisha moved back to India and joined Nykaa as part of the core team which at the time had only 20 members. Trisha also worked in impact investing at Intellecap until she joined Dr. Vaidya’s in 2017.

Dr. Vaidya’s aims to take the traditional science of Ayurveda to the 21st century by using innovative packaging, branding and new formats of products. It is India’s largest Ayurvedic brand online and was recently the first Ayurvedic brand to be featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List for 2019 and BW 40 Under 40 List! In 2020, Dr. Vaidya’s also won Youth SMB of the Year from Amazon and a Retail Startup Award from the Retailers Association of India. With innovative concepts like LIVitup (Hangover Shield) and Chakaash (Herbal Health Toffees. At Dr. Vaidya’s, Trisha spearheaded operations, customer service, logistics & finance and was instrumental in scaling the brand from 0-5,000 orders per day. In June 2019, Dr. Vaidya partnered with the USD 4b RP Sanjiv Goenka Group and has now been acquired by the group – making it one of India’s first successful D2C exits.

Post the exit Trisha is an active angel investor, mentor for start-ups and an advisor to Globalbees and Trell. Outside of work, Trisha is an advisor to football focused NGO, Just for Kicks.

Sanil Sachar - Huddle

Sanil Sachar is the co-founder and partner of Huddle, an entrepreneur, active angel investor, national best-selling author, and columnist based in New Delhi, India.

As part of their accelerator, Huddle, Sanil works with the portfolio, to attain the short and long-term keenly focusing on the revenue strategy and growth.

He is also one of the co-owners of the global sports apparel brand Tru, and looks in the global strategy and the multi-sports growth of Trusox in India.

A sector agnostic investor, his portfolio consists of sports, media, arts, deep-tech, and consumer good companies, to name a few whom he provides early stage funding and strategic support.

Yash Dholakia is a senior member of the investing team at Sauce. An investment professional for nearly a decade, he has a strong passion for consumer brands and businesses. He started his career as a marketer, building multiple iconic brands in real estate, before moving to investing. He was the founding member at Tomorrow Capital, an early stage consumer focused VC, where he built the team and led investments worth over INR 100 Cr in consumer businesses like Generico (now Zeno Health), Leverage Edu, Bonito Designs, and BeyondSkool. He was on the Board and played a key role in scaling up Generico, helped with setting up key functions and strategic hiring, and delivered a multi-bagger cash exit for the fund. Prior to that, he worked at a family office in Singapore where he handled investments across asset classes in the Asia Pacific region. Yash is an MBA (PGDM) from IIM Ahmedabad and a Chemical Engineer from ICT Mumbai.

Amit Singal is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 18+ years of work experience across varied industries. He has an extensive experience in funds administration, accounting, investor reporting, strategic planning, Product Pricing and budgeting.

He has launched Fluid Ventures, SEBI Approved VC Fund in year 2021 to invest in early-stage Startups. The focus of the fund is D2C (Direct to Consumer).

He is very active as a seed stage investor in Indian startup ecosystem. Till now, he has invested in good number of startups like InnerChef, Akiva Life, Infeedo, Advantage Club, Chqbook, Keito.ai, Trilyo, Oro Wealth, Original4Sure, F5 Refreshment, Hungry Foal, LQI, Med Delivery, Neeman Shoes, Junio, Unitedwecare, O2Nails, MentorKart, PeeSafe, etc.

He is founder and director of ASR Business Advisors Private Limited (www.asr-india.co.in). ASR works with multinational Companies for outsourcing their Finance function to India.

He started Startup Buddy (www.startupbuddy.co.in) in year 2015 to support startups in IP Protection, managing Finances, legal & compliance. With a strong analytical and business foundation, collaborating work with different business heads across countries and general management responsibilities have geared him well as a future business leader and a great team player. His greatest strengths are his ability to develop a vision, a clear strategy and align people towards it.

Neha Aggarwal - leads New Investments and Portfolio +Exit at Mumbai Angels Network. She manages over 200 start-ups across 24 sectors, working with founders and next-level investors. She is also an angel investor. She has over 12 years of experience in deal sourcing, deal evaluation, portfolio management, rights negotiation, investor relations, fundraise, commercial due diligence, strategy implementation and investment advisory across sectors.
